The ITWeb Governance, Risk and Compliance conference is fast approaching and I would like to attend. The theme for the conference is “Reimagining compliance for a new regulatory era”. The ITWeb Governance, Risk & Compliance 2025 conference focuses on how those who understand and act on the new governance realities will be the ones defining competitive advantage in 2025 and beyond. As a practitioner experiencing first hand this “supersonic” speed at which technologies are changing, this event is for us to learn and understand the evolving trends in threat detection, real-time risk analysis and automated compliance monitoring.
The event is taking place on the 30th of October 2025 at The Forum, The Campus, in Bryanston. The event will provide a platform for GRC professionals to share ideas and learn about the latest trends, topics and the importance of agility in GRC functions and how directors can ensure effective GRC accountability among other topical issues.
Once I return from the conference, I can share the knowledge and insight gained with colleagues and also evaluate where we can improve and implement the latest technologies to improve our GRC implementation.
