Mbulelo Sochifa is a seasoned IT Executive with 22 years of experience, 19 of which have been in leadership roles across the financial services sector. She currently serves as Head of IT Operations at Glacier by Sanlam, where sheleads Service Delivery, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), End User Computing,DevSecOps, and Infrastructure Management.

She holds a National Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering, is an ITIL Expert, COBIT 2019 Professional, and is currently completing her Executive MBA through Henley Business School. Her academic and professional credentials, combined with hands-on executive experience, enable her to seamlessly bridge strategy, governance, and operational execution.

A passionate advocate for embedding risk awareness into IT operations, Mbulelo champions a culture of resilience, accountability, and roactive governance — ensuring technology decisions align with both strategic objectives and secure business outcomes.

Mbulelo is also the co-founder of ICT on Heels, a mentorship and networking initiative for women in IT. Although no longer active, the spirit of the platform lives on through her ongoing work in coaching, public speaking, and advancing leadership development across Africa.
