Mr. Magatho Mello has over 20 years of proven leadership in telecommunications and ICT across South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. Magatho most recently served as the MTN Group’s general manager for multinational clients, where he successfully drove revenue growth across 17 African markets. He also holds experience from senior executive positions at MTN South Africa, IBM, Vodacom, and Arivia.kom. He led large-scale digital transformation initiatives and managed complex, multi-country ICT portfolios. M agatho ’s qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University.

Mr. Mello currently hold the position of Managing Director of State Information Technology Agency (SITA).
