JSE-listed supply chain solutions company DNA Supply Chain Investment Holdings has reported financial results for the year which reflect headline earnings growth of 59.7%.

DNA has reported revenue for the year to June of R586 million, showing growth of 142%. Similarly, attributable income grew from R36.4 million to R45 million, an increase of 22.8%.

Headline earnings per share crossed the line at 10.7c, compared to the 8.6c turned in for the comparable reporting period.

The company believes its results reflect the opportunity that exists in supply chain management as well as the viability of its business model.

During the year under review, DNA acquired Jumpoint and Streamworks. DNA believes both these companies have added significantly to its offerings.

Streamworks is involved in factory and shop floor systems, addressing the interface between enterprise resource planning systems and automation environments.

The Streamworks acquisition was announced in April this year and became effective as of 1 August. The deal was worth between R18 million and R43 million, depending on profit targets.

However, Streamworks turned in worse than expected results in July, reporting an operating loss of R7.8 million for the year to March.

DNA has not declared a dividend for the year, wishing to hold onto the money for strategic growth in the year to come.
