3Com Corporation today announced that it has won three Gold Performer Awards in this year`s Asia Computer Weekly Readers` Choice Poll.
3Com was declared a Gold Performer in the SOHO Networking Products category for the 3Com OfficeConnect DualSpeed Switch 8 Plus, in the Enterprise Switch category for the 3Com SuperStack 3 Switch 4400, and in the Wireless LAN category for the 3Com Wireless LAN AccessPoint 8200.
This year, Asia Computer Weekly (ACW) received more than 1,500 votes for 59 categories of product. Asia Computer Weekly gathered votes from readers through a Web poll. In total, 1,101 different readers, from various countries and industries responded.
There were three prizes in each category, one `Star` performer for the most votes and two `Gold` performers for the runners up.
ACW will profile the winning products in the special ACW Readers` Choice 2003 issue, which is published on December 1.

The Readers` Choice Awards is an annual competition organized by Asia Computer Weekly, one of the top regional IT weekly publications read by top management, MIS professionals and key IT decision-makers. The publication provides a congruent mix of news analysis and perspectives on current market issues, as well as reports on emerging technologies and tools, real-life application stories and country reports.
