Kids' clothes firm outgrows HF
Reva Systems has announced that children's fashion manufacturer Lemmi Fashion is updating its intercontinental item-level RFID deployment from high frequency (HF) to ultrahigh frequency (UHF) technology, reports RFID update.
Lemmi has suppliers in Asia and Europe, which tag the Germany-bound garments at the factory before shipment. The tags are read at various points en route to Germany, then again upon arrival.
A number of customers take advantage of the RFID tagging for their own processes, and Lemmi expects such activities will only increase among its trading partners.
