3Squared unveils Arca

IXIASOFT, an XML database and search engine company, has signed an OEM partnership with 3Squared, a UK provider of Web content management solutions, reports Marketwire.

As part of this agreement, 3Squared has developed Arca, a document management solution based on TEXTML Server, IXIASOFT's XML database.

Aimed at organisations looking for a complete document management solution, Arca enables simple management for growing enterprise content.

eCopy, a provider of solutions that integrate paper documents into enterprise software applications, says the eCopy Connector for EMC Documentum Content Server has received the "Designed for EMC Documentum" accreditation.

The eCopy Connector for EMC Documentum Content Server works with eCopy ShareScan OP software to enable EMC Documentum users to scan, index, and store information from hardcopy documents using their digital copier.

As a result, EMC Documentum Content Server users can save time and effort by converting paper-based information into secure digital documents to keep pace with e-business processes.

The latest version of Plone has been released. The content management system is ideal as an intranet and extranet server, a document publishing system, a portal server and as a groupware tool for collaboration between separately located entities.

Fixes include changes to the External Editor, LiveSearch and IE7 compatibility.
