Document Sciences Corporation, an enterprise business communications company, and EMC, a storage and management solutions company, have named Cape Town-based 4C ECT as the local distributor of their integrated software solution.
The new solution, called Document Sciences, enables customers to manage the lifecycle of high-volume transactional documents.
"This solution enables organisations to generate business rules-based documents, leverage data and existing content for an enterprise, including print, e-mail and Web portals," says 4C ECT MD David Degenaar.
"We have found that many organisations need an integrated solution that addresses both enterprise content management and content processing requirements."
4C ECT is a long-time partner of Document Sciences Corporation. "To our knowledge, 4C ECT is the only distributor of this solution locally," says Degenaar.
"Our company has signed a contract with Document Sciences Corporation, which grants us the right to market, sell and support their technologies locally and throughout Africa."
