4most committed to empowerment with skills and employment

SAP Business One ERP business software and technology specialist, 4most, a Logic Group company, has found a winning formula to ensure its commitment to employing, empowering and developing competent people is met through the group's in-house Training Academy.

Each year, 4most offers third year BCom and BCompt students opportunities to be selected for training at the Logic Group academy with the objective of becoming SAP Business One ERP consultants.

The five-day training is conducted end November/early December, which is convenient for the students as one of the graduates, Ashley Munsamy, is now employed full time with 4most as a SAP Business One consultant.

“I chose to study information systems and management because I had ideas for developing and implementing a supply chain management system. Logistics, warehousing and distribution had always interested me. The training academy not only provided skills development and improved all of the components of my skills base, it enabled me to grow as a person, be more confident and outspoken.”

The training created a platform from which Munsamy could “measurably improve” his skills. “At university, there is little specialisation, but the training academy gave me a base to improve my financial and business process knowledge. I was exposed to in-depth views and that was advantageous.”

Munsamy found that the training also helped to prepare him to adapt into a working environment and to deal with clients. “There is only so much one can learn from a textbook.” The five-day training format was very effective and provided a good grounding in financial, administration, business processes and the services Munsamy would be expected to deliver to clients as a 4most SAP Business One Consultant.

“Today, two years after applying for the training on a local recruitment Web site, I still look back to my training to help me implement the best possible solutions to the needs of our clients. I am lucky to have found the perfect fit and to work among highly skilled people who are always willing to help to get one where one wants to be. I have no regrets whatsoever.”
