Lava Systems Africa, an affinity partner of Canadian-based Open Text Corporation, today announced a raft of new product and upgraded products ahead of its European User Conference scheduled for later this month that will detail the strategic direction and technology roadmap plans of the latter.
The new announcements include the following:
* Livelink CADManager for MicroStation 2.0.0, part of a range of products designed to bring engineering departments into the corporate document management system,
* Livelink CADManager for AutoCAD 2.0.0,
* Livelink eSign 2.0, an electronic signature option for Livelink Enterprise Server that provides a robust enterprise solution for managing a wide range of approval and change control processes,
* Livelink WebDAV 2.0.0, which provides a standard-based gateway to Livelink. By supporting the Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) protocol, Livelink WebDAV enables Livelink users to access, create, and manage Livelink folders and documents directly from popular desktop applications that also support WebDAV, including Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft WebFolders, and Adobe applications such as Adobe Acrobat.
* Livelink Explorer 4.4 integrates Livelink Enterprise Server products with the Microsoft(r) Windows(r) desktop. Users can access the Livelink Enterprise Server repository using Windows Explorer and can even select content for offline access. Direct integrations with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus(r) Mail are also provided.
* Coreport Portal 7.0, a new version of the enterprise integration portal framework used by companies worldwide to deploy global portals,
* Livelink MeetingZone 2.1 an option for Livelink Enterprise Server that provides real-time collaboration capabilities and tools for preparing, conducting, recording, following up and reviewing meetings, and,
* Livelink Eloquent Media Server 7.7 that leverages leading-edge rich media technology and revolutionary closed-loop content publishing, tracking, and remediation capabilities to manage and measure the delivery of information to globally distributed audiences.

The Lava Systems Africa (Pty) Ltd., team originated in the late 1990`s with the objective of becoming a premier supplier of enterprise systems based around Knowledge Management, Document Management, Records Management, Image Management, Scanning and Workflow solutions.
