ASYST International SA, the sole distributor of Access Accounts in Southern Africa, today announced that the latter had acquired Pumasoft Ltd, the developers of MRPII, Supply Chain and Distribution software.

"Both companies offer the most competitive solution for Microsoft SQL Server in their respective markets and the combined solution provides best of breed to a wide range of industries. Both packages launch and run from a single log in and share a common menu structure."
Pumasoft will continue to operate out of their Huddersfield UK-based offices and the Pumasoft board will continue to run the newly acquired business. They have a significant user base and many of their customers are already using Access Accounts Dimensions.
It is envisaged that Pumasoft will benefit significantly by utilising the marketing resources of both companies and Access will be able to offer a true MRPII solution through its premier partner channel.
