Acer Veriton range offers proven system reliability, highest performance

Acer has introduced the Veriton 3600G and 7600G to its range of high performance desktop PCs, offering business users proven system reliability and convenience features to maximise productivity.

With integrated safety and management functions to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO), this PC range caters to small, medium and large companies alike.

"The new models are user-friendly, have full multimedia functions, large mass memories and high processing speeds to manage sophisticated tasks in a short amount of time. All these features make them very popular with decision-makers wanting to maximise their return on investment," says David Drummond, Managing Director and business unit manager: Servers and PCs, at Acer.

Based on Intel Pentium 4 processors with Hyper-Threading technology, the new Acer Veriton models are designed for optimal network use and for maximum compatibility with different company applications.

Acer has also taken data safety a step further in the creation of the Veriton product range. "Acer has provided the Veriton models with a reset key system for immediate manual system recovery. Using this function enables the user to reset the PC if it is infected with a virus, without losing valuable data. By simply pressing the reset key, the Veriton system will restore the previous conditions and full system functionality," says Drummond.

"With its expansion capacity, the Veriton 3600G and 7600G mini-tower cabinets guarantee system scalability to meet any future challenge. Three external and three internal storage bays allow wide data storage possibilities, making it an ideal solution for company environment changes and challenges. Its modern design chassis can be placed vertically or horizontally to optimally use available space," Drummond says.

Veriton PCs are equipped with six USB ports, allowing the use of a wide range of connectivity options, including mobile DVD, CD-RW, MP3 players and digital cameras. All USB ports observe 2.0 standard and are 40 times faster than the previous USB 1.1.

Added to this, both series are shipped with DVMT 2.0 technology (Dynamic Video Memory Technology) that grants balanced system and graphical performance by precisely assigning available memory. All models have an on-board network card and are compatible with wireless LAN (optional) to guarantee the necessary connectivity capacity and LANScope.
