ACET Processing Implements TRIAD 7.0 - an African first

Johannesburg, 04 Jul 2003

ACET Processing, the specialist third-party processor of Accounts, Customers, Events and Transactions, has scored another first in Africa by implementing the most advanced version of the TRIAD account management system, from Fair Isaac and Company.

TRIAD has become the standard for credit grantors worldwide and enables sophisticated credit, risk and marketing strategies, using behaviour scoring to forecast future performance. Through a controlled Champion/Challenger testing environment and detailed reporting generated by the system, clients are able to accurately assess the performance of competing strategies and make rapid changes to adapt to changing consumer behaviours and economic conditions.

ACET Processing will be providing the TRIAD account management functionality within a third party processing environment and is the first organisation in Africa to have implemented this multi-client version of TRIAD. What makes the ACET Processing TRIAD system unique is that not only is it the first of its kind in Africa but it is also one of the most sophisticated account management systems in the world. By utilising all seven modules of TRIAD 7.0, clients now have the opportunity to make decisions on their customers across the entire portfolio management spectrum. This includes: authorisations, delinquent collections, overlimit collections, reissue, credit limits, portfolio marketing and account-level re-pricing. In addition, multiple scorecards are available to enhance data-driven decisions, including pooled behaviour scorecards, attrition and propensity to spend models.

Mike Crawley, Director of Software Services at ACET Processing states, "This combination of multi-client TRIAD 7.0 and VisionPLUS 8.12 offers clients in Africa unrivalled access to world-class credit management technology. With the impressive results achieved by over 150 TRIAD users worldwide, clients will be able to realise the major benefits improved account management strategies will bring. TRIAD and VisionPLUS are a long-established winning combination and ACET Processing clients in Africa will benefit from the largest, most feature-rich, TRIAD-VisionPLUS offering in the world."
