Acronis unveils recovery solution

Acronis, a provider of scalable storage management and , has made available Acronis Recovery, a backup and recovery software programme specifically designed to provide fast, cost-effective and flexible options for protecting Microsoft Exchange installations, says Market Watch.

Acronis Recovery extends the company's proven backup and disaster recovery protection to Microsoft Exchange servers and gives IT administrators the ability to keep e-mail in perfect working order.

"There is one common thread that unites every business in the world, small or large, and that is the absolute need for e-mail to work, all the time. A company that cannot communicate with its partners and customers won't be in business very long," said Alain Gentilhomme, VP of product management at Acronis.

InMage expands

InMage Systems, a provider of continuous data protection and disaster recovery, is expanding into Europe, the Middle East and Africa in response to a rapid increase in business, says Marketwatch.

InMage has opened a London office and is partnering with leading European integrators and distributors in the disaster recovery and business continuity segment. The company hopes to meet local market needs and position its flagship DR-Scout software as the preferred data protection solution for small to large enterprises.

Chuck Lucci, senior VP, EMEA, said: "As evidenced by the company's success in the North American marketplace, customers of all sizes in all industry segments are seeking business continuity solutions that reduce cost and complexity while expanding overall IT operation capabilities."

Adlib, Coop partner

Adlib Software, provider of advanced server-based document conversion, recognition and publishing software, and Coop Systems, a provider of business continuity software for the global enterprise, have signed an OEM agreement, says Alphatrade Finance.

Under the terms of the agreement, Coop Systems will license and embed Adlib's ExpressConversion Server and ExpressPublishing Server technology into future versions of myCOOP, its Business Continuity Planning software package.

Adlib and Coop Systems provide customers with on-demand document conversion, printing and PDF publishing that drives productivity, reduces the demands on staff and supports compliance with regulatory bodies and internal audit processes.
