Actis adds Panasonic flat displays
Actis Technologies, an audio visual and environment control solutions provider in India, has added Panasonic flat displays to its portfolio, states India PR Wire.
Actis expects the flat panel market will continue to expand and considers flat panel displays a core product for the coming age of broadcasting and telepresence convergence.
The move allows Actis to harness cutting-edge technology to satisfy market needs. The market for flat panel monitors is anticipated to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 25%.
Sensio rolls out Live 3D
Sensio Technologies' Live 3D cinema decoding technology will be directly integrated in Doremi Cinema digital cinema servers, which already have an installed based of over 5 200 units in the US and other countries, says Trading Markets.
With a remote update of the current software, theatres equipped with a Doremi server will be able to use Live 3D technology.
The integration of cinema decoding technology in digital servers will also simplify the deployment of CineLive, which enables live broadcasting of alternative 2D and 3D content.
