ACTNET exhibits GMC Inspire printing, communications solution at Africa Print Expo

...as Ricoh wins the mega stand award...

ACTNET, the enterprise output management and content solutions company, unveiled a communications and printing solution - that is said to boost direct mail responses by up to 35% - at the Africa Print Expo, held from 22-24 August at the Sandton Convention Centre.

The GMC Inspire solution - distributed in South Africa by ACTNET - was on show at the Ricoh stand, which won the Best Mega Stand award at the Africa Print Expo.

Gary du Plooy, in charge of marketing at ACTNET, said GMC Inspire is an ideal software solution for production printing environments, "hence the invitation to exhibit on the Ricoh stand".

Du Plooy said by using GMC Inspire, users can design the most dynamic communications while controlling the content. "The solution is ideal for direct marketing because messages can be effortlessly personalised, with end-users saying that it assists to boost direct mail response rates by up to 35%."

GMC Inspire talks to almost any data source, including CRM, ERP, SAP, ECM, Web-based data - even integrating with social media sites. The solution is able to tweak and combine data on customer preferences, lifestyles and business transactions - and provides a rich, single view of each customer for relevant, targeted customer communications."

Du Plooy said GMC Inspire enables businesses to design the "innovative and dynamic" communications - including adverts and direct mail - while controlling content to ensure compliance and brand consistency.
