Aetn moves to tapeless workflow

Aetn UK, the London-based broadcaster behind channels Bio, Crime & Investigation, History and Military History, has moved to a tapeless workflow, states Broadcastnow.co.uk.

Avid Elite Altered Images worked with the broadcaster, supplying and installing an Avid Interplay asset management solution, an Anystream agility system and Avid ISIS storage along with upgrades to its Avid Media Composer edit suites.

Project manager at Altered Images, Brian Cutts, oversaw the installation. He said the open plan set up at Aetn UK was a challenge as Altered Images had to make sure the day-to-day operation remained undisturbed.
