Agilisys, the manufacturing-centric enterprise software developer, has been named as one of the Top 100 Software Vendors by MSI Magazine for the second year in a row. The nomination recognises Agilisys`s successful growth strategy over the past year in firmly establishing the company in the leadership position in select vertical industries.
MSI Magazine`s Top 100, published annually, acknowledges leading software companies in the enterprise, supply chain and plant operations market. Ranking number 36 out of 100 top software vendors, Agilisys was recognised as a fast-paced, growth company with deep vertical market focus.
"Manufacturers and other companies with deep and complex supply chains have found that standard ERP software suites cannot optimise their operations," says Gavin Halse, MD of local Agilisys distributor ApplyIT. "It is Agilisys`s deep functionality that is driving its growth as it solves the most complex problems in these markets."
This focus and specialisation saw Agilisys end its fourth quarter recently with revenues of $28.2 million and earnings of $5.4 million. In this fiscal year it acquired BRAIN Industries and Future Three Software, making it the global leader in supply chain software for the automotive industry.
The company has diversified to the point that 50% of its revenues now accrue from outside the US, including SA, where it is rapidly gaining ground through ApplyIT.
