The story is exciting, with the player needing to constantly improve his/her skills. I would advise you to go on a crash course in learning patience before even attempting to fight other pirates or sail a ship.

Pirates of the Caribbean is not, as the name might suggest, based on the movie of the same name.

It starts with a tutorial on the basics of the game as the main character gets ready to dock at port. You have a loyal companion who tells you everything you need to know and gets you to where you need to go.

As is standard with a game of this type, the player has a quest book with things that need to be done in order to proceed. The menu is interactive and has many sub-menus that allow the characters and ship to be customised.

You can move through the rankings as your experience grows and allocate points to certain attributes of your character.

The controls take some getting used to, but once that is done, it is easy to manoeuvre your character.

The in-game movie sequences are superb and a must-see. The graphics and animations of the characters are of high quality.

Pirates of the Caribbean is a great game with a lot of real action and high-seas adventure. A must-have for all you buccaneers out there, me hearties.
