Albany Bakeries has completed the installation of Mozaic, a locally developed ERP solution specifically designed for the food manufacturing and distribution industry. Albany provides fresh bakery products to all national supermarket chains and all other retail food outlets, including Pick n Pay, Checkers and Hyperama, among others. The implementation at all 29 of Albany Bakeries countrywide was completed in only nine months.

"Mozaic provides us with the tools to control over 600 trucks and drivers on a daily basis. This is impossible to do manually and we would have had to develop special systems to do this normally, but Mozaic provided an off-the-shelf solution which far exceeded our expectations. In addition to the distribution management provided, our complex debtors and sales environment was also catered for perfectly. Mozaic's open financial periods and transaction-based system ensures that there is no delay at month close and that processing is never interrupted."
