Alcatel launches the One Touch 735i, an enhanced version of the popular One Touch 735 equipped with the latest Java 2.0 technology. This upgraded version brings users a whole new raft of downloadable games and applications via Wap and the Internet whilst retaining the features that made the One Touch 735 so successful: an all over aluminum design, a large color screen, a quick and easy-to-use camera and MMS.

When it comes to playing games the One Touch 735i has been designed to give the player maximum visual and dextral comfort. This comes in the form of a 4096 color screen (128x128 pixels), a horizontal hand-held position, an "action" button for the right hand and a central browsing button (5 positions) for the left hand. The One Touch 735i also offers two games that were designed by Gameloft. Thanks to Java 2.0 technology, it is now possible to download an almost infinite number of thrill-filled games.

The One Touch 735i makes it possible to access the phone`s digital camera in just one click (8 times progressive zoom), send an MMS in two clicks, and record one`s voice at the same time as taking a photo. It is also possible to customize your images with colored frames and super-imposed images such as masks, signage and greetings. In order to take full advantage of this multi-function terminal, Alcatel has added a "Useful tips" heading to the menu. This built-in aid helps the user to quickly discover all his terminal`s options and shortcuts without having to refer to the instructions. A useful back-up when on the move.
The One Touch 735i has 300 hours of battery, a diary, a currency converter, polyphonic ring tones (24 tones), class 10 GPRS technology and a PC Suite to synchronize the terminal with the computer.
