Alexander Forbes in Northern Ireland is a combination of the former Bradstock offices in Belfast (established in 1980) and Lurgan (established in 1965), and later-added financial services operation.
Graeme Kerrigan, chief executive of Alexander Forbes says the new Belfast office represents a significant investment for Alexander Forbes "and is a major statement of confidence in the quality of both staff and clients in the province".
The occasion was marked by an unveiling of a commemorative plaque at the opening of Alexander Forbes`s new Linenhall Street offices, by Sir Reg Empey MLA, Minister
for Enterprise, Trade and Investment.
Says Empey: "Alexander Forbes has recognised that Northern Ireland is an ideal business location and the company`s presence here undoubtedly raises the profile as an investment location. This investment represents confidence in Belfast and the Northern Ireland economy and can only benefit the consumer by being able to offer an even greater range and scope of financial services."
Alexander Forbes`s regional managing director Billy Bennington says: "In an increasingly
challenging insurance environment, Alexander Forbes`s particular blend of risk management skills, innovative products and service delivery, plus technology driven competitive solutions will differentiate us from the conventional insurance broking role."
