Dell has announced that, from 5 October, its Alienware brand will have its own local online store.
Alienware specialises in high-performance computers and hardware favoured by gamers. While the brand has been available in SA since 2010 and through third-party online providers, this will mark the first time users can purchase directly from the brand online.
"Products available include the Alienware M14x, M17x and M18x, X51 desktops and peripherals," says Dell.
Currently, the local Alienware Web site provides hardware drivers and links through to UK stores.
From Friday, shoppers will be able to access the store at www.alienware.co.za.
