Altiris, Inc, a pioneer of service-oriented management solutions, today announced its commitment to deliver integrated end-to-end software management solutions to help reduce the cost and complexity of hardware and software change.
With the upcoming release of Windows Vista, IT organisations are looking for solutions to enable business continuity through the transition. Altiris has integrated and automated the necessary solutions to help manage this change efficiently and seamlessly.
"While our customers want to quickly take advantage of the new features of Windows Vista, they also recognise that a well-planned, automated approach to deployment and migration is critical to optimise employee productivity," said Steve Morton, Altiris VP of product marketing and management. "For almost a decade, Altiris best-of-breed technology has been used by customers to streamline the deployment and migration of millions of Windows installations worldwide."
Altiris customers are currently defining roll-out strategies in anticipation of the upcoming release of Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007a. Altiris is working closely with Microsoft in support of the Microsoft Business Desktop Deployment (BDD) initiative to promote migration best practices. Altiris solutions are also being updated with support for Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit clients and will be released soon after they are validated on the production-ready version of Windows Vista.
