Dac Systems, a national specialist services provider focused on turnkey implementations of leading edge industry solutions, in association with its partners, Microsoft South Africa and Brescia House School, extends an invitation to the market to experience AlwaysOn-Learning.
Dac Systems supplies information technology solutions through its solution layer approach specific to productivity, governance and enterprise layers. Specific industry solutions have been developed for professional services, manufacturing and education, among others.
AlwaysOn-Learning is a world-first education solution that promotes the concept of always-on learning and caters for three primary pillars in education - institution/educator, learner and parent.
It is flexible and can be configured to offer users specific functionality, including research and social networking. The solution will soon have a unique app available in the Windows 8 store.
To mark the introduction and impact of this world-first education solution, Dac Systems is proud to host a technology demonstration and information session to showcase the strength of the offering as part of a global 'learning in a digital world' drive.
The session is scheduled to take place on 16 March at the Brescia House School, in Bryanston, Johannesburg, from 8am to 1pm.
The event will feature a keynote presentation by Fred Baumhardt, Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft South Africa.
He will discuss technology and integration, as well as the significance of this offering within South Africa's emerging e-education frontier.
Aldo van Tonder, Solutions Executive at Dac Systems, says one of the key features is family safety within the application. "This feature helps parents and teachers to protect learners as they use technology to further their education. For example, the features ensure learners are not exposed to inappropriate content or cyber bullying."
The company has activated more than 1 300 learners and facilitators on Microsoft Office 365 as part of its AlwaysOn-Learning solution while in beta testing.
Van Tonder adds: "Technology is a foundation resource that will empower a new generation of youth who are exposed to and readily access solutions to broaden their reference and sources of knowledge. We are here to support educators and parents as they engage the very best solutions available."
