Attendance on Demand is a Web-hosted time and attendance solution for labour management has established a distribution alliance with America OnShore, provider of human resource (HR) and payroll solutions to a wide range of organisations, states Earthtimes.

"This alliance will offer increased value to America OnShore's customers," notes Chris Ciapala, president, Attendance on Demand.

"With Attendance on Demand, America OnShore can include the scheduling, tracking, and management of employee time and labour in their product suite," he adds.

According to Retail Solutions, Haggen supermarkets, an ARC customer, has recently extended, its business intelligence capability to improving returns on their human capital.

The existing core HR management system at Haggen focused on enabling basic HR processes with minimal reporting capabilities.

Up until now, Haggen managed its HR analytic needs through extracting data from their legacy HR systems and other data sources, and creating analytic contexts manually. Haggen's fast growing business needed an efficient and committed workforce, and a plan was outlined to make improvements in processes and technologies around HR.

Personal and Informatik (P&I), an Austrian software development firm dating back to 1968 that was one of the innovators in the human resources application software market has sold its OS/400 and i5/OS human resources application, LOGA/400, says IT Jungle.

P&I says that it wants to focus on its Web-based HR solutions and has therefore found a home for the LOGA/400 software.

Viennese IT services company Infoniqa Group will be taking over support for the product.
