Amvia launches new solid state digital call management system for small to large enterprises

AmVia and Australian vendor, M2 Technology, have launched the Messagemate Flexi Call Manager, an all-in-one digital call management system that attaches to all modern business PABX systems.

The Flexi Call Manager joins the already highly successful Messagemate Super Network series of digital voicemail / automated attendant / on-hold messaging systems, which has been sold in high volumes by AmVia since early 2001.

With its more powerful processor, dozens of additional features and up to 1 000 voicemail boxes, the Flexi Call Manager now rounds out the M2 Messagemate product range, making AmVia the "one-stop shop" for call management systems for South African businesses.

Terence Davie, AmVia messaging guru, notes: "Whereas the Messagemate fits specifically into the to small to medium enterprise (SME) market, the Flexi Call Manager, with its increased capacity to 8 ports and 1 000 mailboxes, now also enables us to address the needs of larger organisations.

An all-in-one digital call management system, Flexi Call Manager attaches to all modern business PABX systems to provide total call handing facilities, including voicemail, call diversion, auto-attendant ("virtual receptionist"), customisable information-on-hold, corporate information lines and more.

Flexi Call Manager boasts all of the features, power and flexibility of PC based call management systems but in a completely solid state form.

It is powered by a next-generation AMD (Pentium equivalent) processor giving it all the power of a PC without the inherent problems of a PC-based system.

"Because it is totally PC-free, Flexi Call Manager is considerably less expensive than alternative offerings," Bowen points out.

"In addition, it has no requirement for typically expensive maintenance and technical support contracts normally required of PC-based systems.

"Users can simply set and forget," he says.

The M2 research and development team responsible for the Flexi Call Manager has been creating and commercialising digital call management technologies for more than 15 years.
