Analytix attracts a `big brother`

Johannesburg, 22 Jun 2009

Analytix today announced that Kwesthuba, a 100% black-owned ICT consulting company that specialises in information systems security, had taken a 51% stake in the company.

"We have been working together with Kwesthuba for over three years and there was a natural synergy between our two companies," commented Johan Botha, Managing Director of Analytix. "We were looking to extend and grow our operations, while Kwesthuba needed our specific IT skills and training resources to enhance their information security and continuity solutions.

"Thus, together, we can open up many new opportunities in both the private and public sector, particularly within the African continent; and our combined size has created an entity with the critical mass that is so necessary within this market."

Kwesthuba Consulting, a BEE ICT company that was incorporated in 2000, specialises in information systems security aligned to industry best practice and leading-edge technologies. Its technology solutions incorporate product offerings from many suppliers and include the areas of application and database security management, endpoint security, high performance computing, ICT risk management, identity and access management, open source, perimeter security and vulnerability and incident management.

Kwesthuba Consulting has offices in Cape Town and Polokwane, in addition to its head office in Johannesburg.
