Answork, the leading French B2B e-marketplace, has chosen PeopleSoft for its financial settlement services. PeopleSoft MarketPay will be used by the newly formed joint venture of BNP Paribas, Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, Cr'edit Agricole and Soci'et'e G'en'erale.
Explains Jan Coetzee, MD of PeopleSoft South Africa, "PeopleSoft MarketPay is a complete procure-to-pay financial settlement process built specifically for internet B2B trading exchanges. It will include global features, such as multi-currency, multi-lingual processing and Euro compliance."
According to Coetzee, PeopleSoft MarketPay has been designed to allow buyers and sellers to collaborate directly in the settlement process. "It will match orders with invoices and provide bill presentment and payment," he says. "As a result, the buying process, from order to payment, is faster, more streamlined and less expensive."
