Apple to sell 3G iPad in China

The Chinese ministry of industry and IT says Apple has won approval to sell its 3G iPad tablets in the country, states Federation.

The approval came four months earlier when Apple started selling iPad with in China. China Unicorn will be providing the 3G plans for the iPad 3G as it goes on for sale.

China is the world's largest wireless market; the demand of Apple product is getting higher each day.

Nokia gets Atom chips

There is a rumour claiming that Nokia will start shoving Atom chips under the bonnet of its smartphones, reports Fudzilla.

A Finnish Web site, Prosessori, claims that the Nokia N9 will feature Intel Atom processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The Web site also claims that the Nokia N9 will feature the same 12MP camera as Nokia N8.

This smartphone will also feature a front-facing camera and a slide out Qwerty keyboard. Apparently, the news is based on a leak of what the former rubber maker would be showing off at Mobile World Congress 2011, which is to be held at Barcelona next month.

Web-enabled TV devices to rocket

According to a new report by In-Stat, the number of Web-enabled CE devices is continuing to grow, according to Electronic House.

Those TVs, Blu-ray players and other electronics allow TV owners to tap into content outside of what's available on the typical cable or satellite set-top box. Some of the most well known 'apps' include Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand, Pandora and even YouTube.

The report says consumers will continue to seek out that added content in droves. In-Stat expects 230 million Web-enabled CE devices to ship by 2014. The study says most of those devices will be bought in North America and Europe.
