Fortune Magazine`s latest issue contains this year`s "Most Admired" ratings. In the computers/office equipment category Gateway has moved to the top spot with last year`s number one, Dell, dropping to number five. Texas Instruments has taken over the top spot from Intel in the semiconductors category, whereas in all the other IT/telecoms categories there have been no significant changes in the top positions.
However, new entrants did include Maxtor (number five) to the peripherals category and Nortel Networks (number two) in the network comms category.
