Ariba, DocuSign set new standard

Ariba, a contract management solutions provider, and DocuSign have joined forces to set a new standard for contract execution, says FoxBusiness.

Under the terms of a newly-signed agreement, Ariba will embed DocuSign's electronic capabilities within its contract management offering to provide customers with a complete on-demand solution for the entire contract life cycle.

"In today's tight economy, efficient and auditable contracting is critical to maximise revenues and mitigate risks," says Dan Reid, senior product manager, Ariba. "In teaming with DocuSign, Ariba can provide the first complete and global solution for achieving these goals."

CompuCom helps found Global Alliance

CompuCom Systems, an IT outsourcing company, has been named as a founding member of the newly launched Global Workspace Alliance, an international network spanning the European, American and Asian markets, reports FoxBusiness.

The new Global Workspace Alliance members will unite in providing consistent, global IT support backed by shared processes, methods and tools to foster a strong local presence, robust international governance and shared service innovation.

The Alliance says its customers will benefit from simplified contract management, effective service evolution and responsive requirement scaling.

Hospital improves tracking system

Martin Memorial Health Systems (MMHS) has selected Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement (COIDS) tracking system from TractManager's MediTract division, a provider of contract management services to hospitals, states Pharmaceutical Review.

The COIDS system uses a centralised database that manages multiple categories of statements with specific areas for compliance and the disclosure of outside interest and activities.

MMHS has also expanded its use of TractManager's products to include the company's PropertyTract solution, which manages facility-related leases, service contracts, and property information for the health system's real estate and construction division.
