State-owned IT group arivia.kom has invited businesses to tender for e-mail branding services at the organisation.
Sourcing specialist at arivia Antoinette Scheepers says the value of the tender will be half a million rand, over two years.
"The closing date is 17 May - and we plan to announce a winner within a month of that date," she adds.
The main objectives of the project are to "establish a professional look and feel regarding e-mail communication, implement effective branding and marketing, and enhance everyday e-mail with graphic and additional text messaging," says arivia in the tender invitation.
Employee wellness tender
Arivia has also issued an invitation for service providers to submit a proposal for the provision of employee wellness programmes.
Though Scheepers was unable to put a figure on the value of the wellness tender, it is understood the prospective service provider will be required to assist arivia with "developing programmes to support employees with personal and work-related problems affecting their work performance," according to the invitation.
The successful bidder will also be involved in providing confidential and professional counselling services to employees, of which there are almost 1 500.
