Artingence develops call centre robots

A technology company in Newcastle wants to make human call centres a thing of the past, says Northumberland Gazette.

firm Artingence is developing technology which will allow the centres to be staffed by computerised "robot" agents that will sound and respond like real people.

These software agents will be trained and managed in the same way they currently are, but companies will be able to focus on improving service rather than staffing issues.

Procco selects Altitude

Procco Financial Services, established by The International Investor, has deployed Altitude Software's multimedia contact centre solution, reports Al-Bawaba.

Electronic Solution House, a certified Altitude Software partner, handled the installation, customisation and implementation of Altitude uCI with the existing telephony system.

Procco provides a full range of Sharia-compliant services and transaction processing, both to TII companies and to others wanting dedicated Sharia-compliant back-offices supporting their financial products.

HCL BPO Services expands

HCL BPO Services has expanded its use of the Noetica Synthesystm software framework, to meet increasing demand for business processes to be managed by the contact centre, states PR Web.

The company has implemented an additional 50 licences for Noetica's technology, including the Script-Aware Predictive Dialler, at its Armagh contact centre.

HCL BPO Services recently experienced a significant increase in outbound business, prompting an expansion of the contact centre and bringing the total number of inbound and outbound agents using Noetica's technology to 346.
