Software distributor Phoenix Software says the collection of sleeves from Exspect feature the customised works of Alexander McQueen, Giorgio Armani, Paul Smith, Amy Winehouse, Foo fighters, Coldplay, Slash and Ozzy Osborne.
The sleeves are a result of a licensing partnership between Exspect and the 21st Century Leaders Foundation, which is running the Whatever it takes initiative.
According to Phoenix Software, the campaign has already raised over $1.5 million to create and sustain charitable projects that tackle global development issues, such as poverty alleviation, environmental conservation and the protection of children.
The distributor says Exspect's proceeds from the laptop sleeve initiative will go towards projects selected by the 21st Century Leaders Foundation, and will most likely be channelled into Mozambique. The bio-diverse country is also one of the poorest, where natural resources need to be managed in a sustainable manner if its ecosystems and local communities are to survive.
