Ascential Software, the unquestioned leader in the enterprise data integration market, has announced its support for Universal Application Network, the standards-based, vendor-independent application integration solution launched by Siebel Systems in conjunction with application software vendors, integration server vendors and systems integrators.
Ascential has also announced its support for Siebel Analytics, an end-to-end, next-generation analytics solution that provides all users with up-to-the-moment, actionable customer and business insight.
As part of this endorsement, it plans to provide out-of-the-box connectivity from its new Enterprise Integration Suite to Universal Application Network and Siebel Analytics.

The integrated solution will enable customers to use the company`s entire data integration suite, including profiling, cleansing, parallel processing, and end-to-end metadata management, across a network of applications to enable managed business processes and cross-source business analysis capabilities. This solution comes as a result of the company`s connectivity to ERP systems, mainframe and relational data, Web Services and XML support, and integrations with the other Universal Application Network-related integration vendors.
Universal Application Network enables organisations to integrate applications based on best practices. Based on XML and Web services standards executed by integration servers, it ensures that businesses are not locked into vendor-specific proprietary architectures.
Siebel Analytics provides out-of-the-box pre-packaged applications that address key analytical issues in sales, service, and marketing - all built on the Siebel Analytics Platform. This platform`s products deliver insight into integrated real-time and historical data spanning all business data sources. It provides performance and security to deliver analytic capabilities to unprecedented numbers of users.
Together, Ascential and Siebel deliver an integrated solution that combines best practices drawn from Siebel`s business process library, advanced analytic capabilities incorporated into Siebel`s pre-built analytic applications, and Ascential`s best-practice approach to business data integration.
