AST Education an ITITB approved training provider

The South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) has accepted AST Education, a business unit of the AST Group, as an Information Technology Industry Training Board (ITITB)-specified training provider.

"In South Africa, the development of skills is of vital importance, particularly with regard to IT and other technical and business domains," explains Esther Fouche, senior Manager of AST Education. The SAQA Act prepared the way for the development of a National Qualifications Framework (NQF). The objective is to set clear standards for all types of learning and quality assurance systems to ensure that standards will be maintained.
