As part of its approach in providing a well-rounded education, Crawford College Pretoria is now offering an A+ certification course to all interested pupils.
AST Education, a division of the AST Group, has been contracted to teach the A+ syllabus for this certification course. "In South Africa the development of skills is of vital importance, particularly with regards to IT and other technical and business domains," says Esther Fouche, GM of AST Education. "AST acknowledges this need and we are committed to making a decisive contribution."
"There was a great deal of interest by the students for us to offer an A+ course," explains Este Shearar, Co-ordinator of IT at Crawford College Pretoria. "But it was important to us that we contract a company that had a reputable reputation in IT Training."
"We found that AST Education was professional in their approach, as well as being able to provide excellent lecturers," continues Shearar, "In addition, AST Education was not a fly-by-night company, which is so often advertised in today`s marketplace."
"For students who would like to specialise in PC support and installation, the A+ course provides the necessary background and training as it covers a broad range of hardware and software technologies," notes Fouche. "This will provide Crawford`s students with added advantage in today`s marketplace."
