AST Enterprise Solutions Management (ESM) has announced that Affinity Logic has selected the webMethods integration product suite to drive end-to-end integration of the company`s application services.
AST ESM, a business unit of the AST Group, is a local distributor for webMethods.
The webMethods integration platform will provide Affinity Logic with a centralised integration platform to automate business processes and to integrate the company`s business-to-business applications and systems with that of its clients, providing an enhanced customer experience.
"As a specialist technology solution provider and e-business market integrator to the retail value chain, we required a centralised, end-to-end integration platform that would be easily and quickly implemented," says Rob Montieth of Affinity Logic.
"The integration platform will empower Affinity Logic to operate more efficiently, reduce costs and ultimately gain significant competitive advantage," explains Geoff Hardwick, GM of Business Integration for AST ESM.
Affinity Logic will use the webMethods platform to integrate between the various disparate systems that it operates on behalf of clients. Eventually this will result in real-time integration between all applications within each of the client`s enterprises.
"By providing the end-to-end integration backbone, we will assist Affinity Logic in delivering e-business services more quickly to its retail clients," adds Hardwick. "The webMethods integration platform simplifies integration efforts and provides the flexibility to adapt as the company expands its e-business initiatives."
