AST Vaal Triangle, a business unit of the AST Group, has been commissioned by Sasol Polymers to implement an enterprise-wide electronic faxing delivery solution, which will bring together its faxing and SAP technologies.
"As with any large business, Sasol Polymers generates more than 500 faxes daily at its offices throughout SA," explains Michael Roodt, Account Manager for AST Vaal Triangle. "With such large volumes, Sasol realised the need for a solution that would automate the production and dispatching of documents from within SAP, enabling the user to send documents electronically."
Through implementing the RightFax e-faxing delivery solution, Sasol Polymers will be able to create immediate efficiency by delivering their business documents electronically and instantaneously, which will reduce the cost of communicating with their customers and suppliers.
"Automating the fax process will save us significantly in terms of time and administration costs," says Reg Toms, Project Manager for Sasol Polymers. "In addition, sending faxes electronically, especially from our SAP system will drastically reduce Sasol Polymers` paper generation and consumable costs, while eliminating delays in supplier and customer communications."
