The AST Group, as an Alliance Partner of SAP Africa and one of the largest SAP implementation partners in southern Africa, showcased its SAP capabilities and solutions at this year`s SAPHILA conference, held at Sun City from 28 September to 1 October.
SAPHILA is an annual highlight event of the year for the SAP community, providing a mix of learning, networking and social opportunities along with information about the latest products and services in the SAP eco-system. It also provides an educational forum for customers and suppliers - locally and globally - to share experiences and exchange ideas regarding SAP information in the form of a structured platform for current and potential users.
AST`s focus at the event was on "Driving Business Evolution" through the implementation of the MySAP Product suite including MySAP cross-industry applications and industry-specific solutions. Furthermore, AST focused on unlocking the maximum potential value in a mySAP Implementation by making use of AST`s unique service and support centre, continuous business improvement methodology, change management and training practices.
"Because SAPHILA is a user-driven event, the primary goal was to educate and inform the user community and to provide a forum to share experiences," explains Pieter Boshoff, GM of AST ERP Solutions, the SAP solutions business unit of the AST Group. "The bottom line was to get delegates to learn how to get the best out of the investments they have made in SAP solutions, so that their companies perform better."
