Incorporating Bluetooth v2.0 with EDR function, the WL-BTD202 enables 3Mbps high-speed data transfer, meaning it takes merely four seconds for the ASUS dongle to transmit a 1MB file, while competing devices based on Bluetooth v1.2 takes up to 12 seconds. The latest Bluetooth specification further enlarges signal coverage area to a 40m range when partnered with bundled USB extension docking stand and lowers power consumption to provide a drastic improvement in bandwidth, distance and stability during data synchronisation between various computing devices.
A2DP - Wireless audio environment
Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) support provides wireless stereo audio enjoyment through Bluetooth earphones. Simply plug the WL-BTD202 to a computing device to wirelessly transmit music stored to Bluetooth headphones and enjoy stereo audio quality with the freedom to roam.
