ASUSTeK Computer Inc (ASUS), a leading provider of high-performance notebook computers, today introduced six notebooks including W3000A, W3000V, W5000A, V6000V, M5200A and M6000A, all of which are based on Intel`s latest Sonoma platform.
These notebooks provide powerful data processing choices ranging from 12-, 14- and 15-inch standard screen and widescreen, offering a total mobile computing solution that fulfils the demands of users at all levels for all purposes.
All six Sonoma-based notebooks adopt an updated chipset, codenamed Alviso, supporting dual-channel DDR-II SDRAM memory that improves performance considerably compared to current mobile platforms.
