Atos Origin collaborates with Oracle

Atos Origin, a provider of IT services, is working with Oracle in the area of content management, reports CBR.

The two companies have introduced an offering called Digital Content Marketplace that captures information in all formats including printed documents, photos, videos, as well as Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Oracle EMEA alliances and channels senior vice-president Stein Surlein says this tool from Atos utilises storage, archiving and server products from Oracle, including Oracle Exadata, which brings additional performance benefits for end customers.

Hackers sell $25 toolkit

Malicious hackers are selling a $25 toolkit to anyone interested in creating and dangerous Facebook applications, states ZDnet.

According to researchers at Websense Security Labs, the do-it-yourself toolkit offers a template for spreading malware, directing users to click-fraud accounts and for pushing Facebook users to bogus surveys to hijack personal information.

Websense says this phenomenon of template Facebook applications like Tinie app shows how the spamming culture is consolidating more around Facebook, adapting to the platform and increasing Web spam.

Bridgeline signs channel partnership

US-based Paragon Consulting has signed an exclusive partnership with Bridgeline Digital, makers of the iApps content management platform, says Insurance News.net.

Recently, Bridgeline revised its corporate strategy to focus on working with regional partners. As a result, Bridgeline needed to find a in Northeast Ohio that had deep experience with content management.

“The addition of Bridgeline's product suite strengthens our capabilities and will allow us to continue offering the industries best products to our clients,” says Mark Atwood, president and CEO of Paragon Consulting.
