AttachmateWRQ, OpenSpan form global alliance

AttachmateWRQ and OpenSpan Inc today announced a worldwide partnership enabling AttachmateWRQ to distribute OpenSpan`s desktop integration technology. Under the agreement, AttachmateWRQ will bring OpenSpan`s Composite Studio to AttachmateWRQ customers worldwide, extending Verastream`s legacy integration breadth and providing organisations with the most comprehensive approach to quick, non-invasive reuse of any application functionality.

This partnership further fulfils the AttachmateWRQ integration strategy of extending legacy assets via service-oriented architecture (SOA) through non-invasive service enablement. By combining AttachmateWRQ Verastream mainframe and Web integration expertise with OpenSpan`s desktop application integration capabilities, customers can integrate Windows, Java, green screen and packaged applications right at the desktop to create seamless, highly-efficient solutions.
