Browsealoud brings health info

Disabled patients in the UK will find it easier to access health information on the Web thanks to state-of-the-art software called Browsealoud, reports ChronicleLive.

The technology will make health information more accessible by reading out text from Web pages, highlighting the words as they are heard.

It is hoped the technology will make it easier for people with a physical or visual impairment to access information on local health services in their area.
