With the current growth forecasts for the storage arena escalating, AXiZ has taken the leap into developing this market within its customer base and the SA market. To this end, the company has employed a full-time storage product manager to fully develop this market.
Lawrence Polkinghorne, previously from Dimension Data in Durban, has joined the company and intends to develop AXiZ` existing storage offerings. AXiZ currently sub-distributes IBM, Seagate, Quantum, Western Digital, Mylex, Adaptec, Dysan, Memorex, Sony, Samsung, Verbatim, TEAC and Creative product ranges.
"Where we see a gap is in the mass storage arena," says Polkinghorne. "We have recognised that there is a need for a supplier of more complicated storage solutions in the SA market. We intend to add value and offer a full working solution for our customers."
