More than just a portable storage device, the Kingston U3 DataTraveler`s smart drive conveniently carries data and U3 software programs that can be downloaded from www.U3.com. For ease and convenience, the Kingston U3 DataTraveler comes standard with the U3 Launchpad that operates in six languages. It also serves as a start menu from which U3 programs are launched and other functions are managed.
"The U3 Launchpad creates a personal workspace where you can add and remove software programs, change settings and preferences, manage storage capacities and monitor information," explains Macharia.
Security on the Kingston U3 DataTraveler`s smart drive restricts access and maintains data privacy by allowing you to set your own personal password with its password protection feature. It is compatible with both Windows 2000 SP4 and XP, and is backed with a five-year warranty. The Kingston U3 DataTraveler is colour-coded in silver with purple grips for the 512MB version, and silver with black grips for the 1GB capacity.
