Axiz, the local IT infrastructure distributor, has introduced the P5ND2-SLI Deluxe motherboard series from ASUS, providing overclocking and SLI features. In addition to innovative technologies, the motherboard also offers higher front side bus (FSB) and DDR2 support for faster processing and large memory bandwidth.

Overclocking features include performance boosters, provided by AI NOS, when the most resource for heavy applications, such as 3D games and video editing, is required. The CPU Lock Free system is another feature allowing users to adjust the CPU multiplier to 14X, thus providing flexible external FSB frequency increase for significant memory bus bandwidth improvement.
The latest technology from ASUS, and yet another feature, is the PEG (PCI Express Graphics) link, which enables users to raise GPU and VGA memory throughput via the motherboard BIOS for superior video quality.
For serious overclockers ASUS has designed the Precision Tweaker, which has overclocking options for all major parts of the system, including CPU, memory, PCI-Express and FSB in order to achieve maximum performance. The Serial ATA on the Go is the external SATA port, of 3Gbps storage specifications, which delivers enhanced scalability and doubled bus bandwidth for high-speed data retrieval and saves.
Prior claims have indicated that nVIDIA`s nForce4 SLI - Intel chipset only supports DDR2 667/533; however, ASUS engineers have now successfully unleashed its true value and potential. The P5ND2-SLI Deluxe motherboard series offers native DDR2 720 memory module which avoids bottlenecking when overclocking both the CPU and memory. With current processors supporting 1066MHz FSB, the P5ND2-SLI Deluxe provides superior performance for the most demanding applications.
The P5ND2-SLI Deluxe is also Intel EM64T (Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology) ready, where processors run at a 64-bit code and access higher memory bandwidth. This type of feature is great for resource heavy digital multimedia applications that are needed to achieve high-quality video and audio processing, as well as 3D rendering.
The ASUS SLI feature allows for the flexibility to switch between the SLI and single graphics card modes, while providing a stable SLI operation. The heat reduction features guarantee high-speed, stable system operations, while EZ Plug and EZ Selector are two exclusive ASUS features that present users with innovative solutions for stable operation and user-friendly mechanical interfaces.
The Two-Slot Thermal is a special placement design for dual graphics cards. These graphics cards are positioned apart so that enough air flows between the cards, thus eliminating heat build-up. An advanced heat dissipation technology from ASUS is the Fan-less Design, which applies a large heat sink for effective cooling of the components.
Another ASUS patented feature is the EZ Selector, which consists of an onboard selector card to switch between SLI mode (dual graphics cards) and normal non-SLI mode (single graphics card). The switch utilises a special socket design that allows easy insertion and removal of the selector card.
