Axiz has announced the immediate availability of three USB expansion hubs aimed at meeting the varied needs of all its users.
"Whether you need high power ports, a bus or a self-powered hub, there is a Targus USB expansion hub that will fulfil your USB expansion requirements," says Laura Eaton, Targus product manager, Axiz.
Plug in and play
Just 14 x 8 x 4cm in size and 565g in weight, the Targus seven-port 2.0 USB hub with audio pass is the most powerful of the three. It gives your notebook or desktop additional plug-and-play connections so that it can support multiple input/output USB devices.
The hub features seven USB 2.0 ports, and can be positioned either vertically or horizontally, allowing for the easy connection of both low speed and high-speed USB devices.
The "always on" capability and high power port can connect a maximum of two high power devices, such as external hard drives and DVD writers. With features such as the audio pass-through port that connects your headset and microphone to the hub directly, ensuring adapter friendly spacing of ports, the Targus seven-port hub promises users all the benefits of compact, advanced functionality.
The Targus seven port 2.0 USB hub with audio pass is R535.
Travel light with micro power
The Targus micro travel USB 2.0 four-port hub is a bus-powered travel USB hub with swivel connector. One of the most compact and lightweight travel hubs on the market, it is the perfect solution for any mobile user, enabling the connection of multiple USB devices that support full-speed (12Mbps) and low-speed (1.5Mbps) data transmitting rates.
Complying with USB 1.1 specifications, the micro USB four-port hub is ideal for all desktop and notebook PCs equipped with a USB 1.1 compliant port. The hub has no cable and connects directly to the USB port of the PC, pocket PC, tablet PC or handheld PC.
The Targus micro travel USB 2.0 four-port hub is R260.
Super small, super powerful
Under 5cm in size and weighing a negligible 22g, the Targus super mini USB 2.0 four port hub is smaller than a Post-it Note. With its slick aluminium industrial appearance, this USB 2.0 hub boasts four USB ports and a high-speed transfer rate of up to 480Mbps.
There's no need to carry around extra power adapters with this unique hub: to power it you simply plug the included y-cable into your notebook or desktop and you're ready to start transferring data.
Targus super mini USB 2.0 four port hub is R165.
